CC Designs Day 2 Roberto's Rascals

Hello Friends!!!!

Today is a SUPER fun day as it's day 2 of the CC Designs Sneak Peeks and it's a Roberto's Rascals day.  Today I am sharing the SUPER FUN Viking Kids set!!!!  They are SO freaking ADORABLE!!!!

I stamped the image using my MISTI on 1 1/2 inch inchies, colored with Copics and then stamped again over the colored image to bring out the lines again.  I am REALLY starting to LOVE my MISTI... I'm a slow lover! ;)

My sentiment is from July's release called Lumberjack sentiments.  I giggle picturing this lil one being SO emphatic on Thanking someone! :)  LOL

Can you see that die peeking out from behind???  YES!!!!  It's one of Rhea's creative dies that JUST came to CC Designs!!!!  Lemme tell ya, just touching those dies I could tell the quality was superb!

I used the following stamps for my card; Holiday Treats WP789, and You Are The L17197. My card came about by accident LOL  Gotta love a happy accident.  I had placed my treat pieces on their panel and got it stuck down crooked, so when I peeled it up it tore the stamped background.  SO... I sliced up the background paper and made it into panels and enlarged the card to a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  The treats were fussy cut, no dies...

Hello friends!!!!  It's time for a new challenge over at Impression Obsession.  This time the name of the game is "It's getting hot in here!" (Warm colors) Well I think warm Summer colors means BRIGHT colors.  So I created this little simple sentiment only card using some retired SU papers, ribbon and then colored the sentiment called "Happy to You" C19344 and coated it with a couple layers of clear gel pen. A few matte doodlebug gems that I coated with Wink of Stella and it was DONE!  See, you don't have to be all fancy to play along or to make a great card!!! Simple is good! :)

CC Designs Day 1 ~ Swiss Pixie Rockabilly Abigail

Hello everyone!!!  HAPPY 4th of July and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Today I get to share with you one of the newly released (they are in the store NOW) images.  Today I am sharing Swiss Pixie Rockabilly Abigail.  Isn't she the CUTEST???  I decided to go with the weather lately and make it a HOT Summer card... She is complete with her shades.... I used several  cutter dies here, Windows, Bubble Alphabet,  along with a brad that is shaped like a pair of glasses.  Speaking of which I made her glasses into sunglasses by simply shading them with my C Copics and some clear gel pen!!!!

CC Designs Day 2 Pixie Girl

Hey friends!  It's day 2 for CC Designs Stamps.  Today we are sharing Roberto Rascal's Pixie Girl and Cutie Butterfly.

I am using Pixie Girl

I created my card by using some Tim Holtz Oxide ink, then blending in some Nuvo Mousse onto my shimmer white cs from Stampin Up.  I dried the inks, then took a stencil from SU and sprinkled my infusions powders on and spritzed with water then dried with heat gun again.  I ran this all through my machine with a heart embossing folder.  A fencing embellie and robins nest along with flowers from I am Roses complete the card.

It was actually SUPER fast considering all the steps.  But multi media has no rules so it makes it FUN to play around in!!!!!

CC Designs Day 2 Cinnamons Present

Hey friends!!!!  Welcome to Day 2 of the CC Designs Stamps release.  Today we are sharing images from Rustic Sugar.  I am using Cinnamon's Present.

I grabbed my new Lawn Fawn Rainbow plaid paper pad.  I paired some Doodlebug gems and doily.  This is my VERY first attempt at the no lines coloring.  It isn't perfect by any means but I do actually like the way it turned out.  It's fun to go out of your comfort zone, but to publish it???  ACK!  Be nice please! :)

CC Designs Day 2 Sneak Peeks~ Mystical Cuties

Hey Friends!  Welcome to day 2 of the CC Designs Sneak Peeks!!!!  Today I am sharing my card I made using Mystical Cuties and Shaper 2 cutter dies

I paired my image with some fun papers and created a little belly band using some of the smaller images from the set.  Some sequins for "sparkle" for your day and done! :)

Guest DT Quick Creations

Hello!  Guest DT post today for Quick Creations!  Today I get to share with you a sweet little card where I played with new techniques I learned at the retreat I attended in Austin Texas.  I actually can use supplies I have had for awhile now!  LOL

**Plus it keeps me happy, like I'm still hanging out with AWESOME people!!!!

I created my card using Your Next Stamp Fairytale Homes & Fancy Pants DP 

Again some random diecuts I had, cleaning out drawers and bins is MAGIC the stuff you find!   I added some water colored paper and then took a stencil of a brick wall and removed some water coloring.  The image was stamped in versamark, clear embossed and then I applied 3 colors of Tim Holtz Distress ink all over it.

Guest DT Quick Creations

Hello there!

I'm sharing a cute little card using one of my favorite stamp companies, Sugar Pea Designs.  This set is called Merry Christmoose.  Paired with the perfect 6x6 paper from Kaisercraft called Frosting.

Card design is simple to describe.  Stamped, colored and then paired with embellishments from my stash.  A Bit of rustic feel with the twine and the burlap flowers.

Guest DT Beary Sweet

Hello friends!

I have a share for Quick Creations Stamps from Doodle Dragon called Beary Sweet.

I created my card using the stamp called Beary Sweet from Doodle Dragon Designs, the DP is from Doodlebug called Here comes Santa, a random couple of snowflakes that I found in my embellie drawer that I then covered in Tim Holtz ink and Nuvo Mousse.  This is a technique I learned at a retreat in Austin Texas hosted by the UBER fabulous Lydia Fiedler.  You will also see some Nuvo Drops on the ends of the white snowflake.  I LOVE these Nuvo Products!!!!

Blog Hop with CC Designs and Snow Boys

Today is RELEASE DAY for the new NOVEMBER Stamps at C.C. Designs. As you have seen from our Preview Days, these new stamps revolve around those chilly, wintry days....except for those last minute mermaids that made their way into this release! And, don't forget about the 12 new DOVEART stamps that were released at the end of October. You have a lot of amazing choices this month for your stamping needs.

Today I am sharing another card using the Snow Boys stamp set.  I have paired it with the newly released Winter Bench and Snowman Sentiments.  I thought it would be a fun element to add if I used the Holiday Tag Cutter Die along with the Holiday Background stamp from the October Release.  I simply stamped the diagonal in one color, turned it to go criss cross plaid style and stamped it in an alternate color to match my Lawn Fawn Winter DP.  I added the Cutter Make a Card #11 die tree behind my image panel and added some Cutter Snowflakes

CC Designs Day 2 ~Snow Boys

Hello friends!!!!  It's day 2 for CC Designs sneak peek!  Today I'm using Snow Boys from the November New Release

I actually had a card piece fall apart on my and this base was still intact so I just grabbed a piece of corrugated dp, matted it, and slipped it under the bow.  My image I stamped on Neenah cream cs colored in sepia tones, die cut it out with the CC Cutter Holiday Tag then sliced up the sentiment from the new Snowman Sentiment set and popped them on all willy nilly! :)

Reindeer Games ~ CC Designs

Hey Peeps!  Sharing a SUPER cute card using the newest release from CC Designs Stamps.  This set is called Reindeer Games from the Roberto Rascals collection.

He's set on a pretty package looking just like a present from Santa's bag of goodies.  Lawn Fawn Christmas Plaid, SU Real Red ribbon, SU Pine boughs dies and colored with Copics.  I added some mother of pearl bling as falling and fallen snow .  This little fellow was colored up with Copic markers.

I hope you have enjoyed my CC Design cards using the October Release.  It's almost time to start sharing the NOVEMBER release with you.

CC Designs Release Blog Hop Time!!!!!

Today is RELEASE DAY for all of the new OCTOBER Products at C.C. Designs!! As you have seen from our Preview Days, this release revolves around Christmas (which is right around the corner folks)!! For the month of October, we have 13 new character stamps, 4 dies, a Holiday Background stamp set, and a new Sentiment set.

I have Sleepy Cinnamon to share with you for the hop!!!  This was a 2 hour card for me as there are numerous steps to this, masking paper piecing, coloring, die cutting then putting it all together to create THIS.... I flashed back to my 70's childhood ;)

Hello there!  It's Kelli here sharing my newest card using a FUN Tiny Townies from Stamping Bella!

I created my card using Bonnie Loves Bows from Stamping Bella the Tiny Townies collection!!!!  

I used an older My Minds Eye valentine paper pack, a heart banner and my Wink of Stella in clear.  The image was colored using Copics!

7Kids College fund

Well HELLO Friends!!!!!  It's Kelli here with today's project for you!  I am using some FUN Avery Elle Dies and stamp set for my card today!!!! 

HA!  FUN right???  This is the Margarita Shaker Elle-ments wafer thin die!!!!  I paired it with the Simply Said CRAZY die and Simply Said CRAZY Stamp set

The shaker elements are the FABULOUS new **PRE ORDER** Nuvo crystals.  These are SO SIMPLE to use.... I was actually just playing around with mine making little dots onto my craft mat and they were dry in about an hour.  I had left them just sitting there and when I decided to play Margarita maker I had an A-HA! moment and simply flicked these off of the mat added them to my margarita glass and BOOYAH!  Insta LOVE!!!

Now, you might think that you don't *need* the Nuvo crystals as you might already have Perfect Pearls or the Viva Decor perfect paper pearls... these ARE different, they require NO flicking to get that point off the top like the perfect pearls and they flatten out like enamel dots, with just a slight hump on top whereas the Viva stay round like a pearl embellishment!  They give you FABULOUS versatility!!!!!  I REALLY recommend them, I plan on getting EVERY color! ;)

7 kids Challenge Anything Goes

Well hello there!!!!  Today starts a new challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund.  It's always ANYTHING GOES over at 7 Kids and that means it's prime for the pickin' for winning a fun gift card!  Rules are simple!  MUST use a current 7 kids stamp to be considered.  Fair enough don't you think? ;)

Well, today I am sharing with you my Edna the Diva card!!!!  Stamping Bella just makes me SMILE!!!!  This little happy Diva is here to make you happy!!!!

  Tons of fun here with the Wink pen, the Stampendous Chunky enamel, some fun cork elements, pearls and of course the star of the show EDNA!!!!!

I had to finish the card by hooking up the inside too!

I LOVE that sentiment!!!  a bit of paper and pearls to matchy matchy the front and this baby is ready for a PICK YOU UP card!!!! Can't help but smile to avoid that crown falling right???  ;)
