I had SO much fun when my goodie box arrived!!!!!  I actually took them on vacation with me, however, that didn't work out for me so well... my daughter and granddaughter came down after us and broke down in the middle of the Gorge.  Well, actually they had passed the Gorge and were between nothing and nothing!  LOL  SO, we spent three days of our vacation towing, repairing and then moving the car again...... ANYWAY... I digress... Here is one of my cards using the NEW goodies:

7 kids Guest Spot

Hello friends!!! 

I was super lucky a few months ago and won a guest DT spot for 7 kids crafting supply store.  TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!

I decided to use one of the adorable mermaids from The Greeting Farm. This mermaid is called Maisea.  I decided to Christmas her up!  I'm pretty sure a Mermaid fan would LOVE a Christmas Mermaid.... :)

She is based on Kraft and Red and the matting is red glitter paper.  She is covered with my glitter pen.  Some fun bobbles from my stash help tie in the Christmas theme!

CC Designs Release Day

Hello friends!  It's that time over at CC Designs.  You can now get your hands on these SUPER cute stamps and get started on some FABULOUS Christmas cards!!!!

Today I am sharing Gingerbread Lucy

Is she not CUTE???  I colored her up with my Copics, added some fun Lawn Fawn Christmas DP and some snowflake dies, then added some cute little peppermint twists and glitter dots!!!!

I can't wait to see what you all create with these new cuties!!!!

CC Designs Peek day 1 ~ Light Bulb Lucy

Hello Friends!!!  It's time to show you our FABULOUS stamps for October from CC Designs RS!  Today I am using Light Bulb Lucy!  She is ADORABLE!!!!!  I used Washi Tape for my background "paper" and some ribbon and twine!  She is colored with Copics and of course some Wink of Stella added for shimmer!

IO Challenge - Christmas in July

Hello friends!!!!  Today is another NEW CHALLENGE from Impression Obsession!!!  This week we are going all CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!!!!!

I revisited some AWESOME older items paired with a NEW sentiment.  I used Humbug (A13574) along with an older die Pine Branch Die (DIE021-N).  I used an older Stampin Up retired DP for the base and pine branches.  The die is a single facing die, so I just cut one branch from the back side of the DP to get it to be an opposite facing branch!   I stamped the sentiment, mounted it onto a mat and adhered my pine branches to the back side, then placed dimensionals to pop it up.  Some gems for berries and some retired sweater ribbon from SU.

FUN right??!!!  LOVED how this evolved from my initial CAS idea, think generic items from the 70's.  Just black and white and the name.... HA!  I'm really glad my wheels kept spinning while making this!!!! :)

I used the following stamps for my card; Holiday Treats WP789, and You Are The L17197. My card came about by accident LOL  Gotta love a happy accident.  I had placed my treat pieces on their panel and got it stuck down crooked, so when I peeled it up it tore the stamped background.  SO... I sliced up the background paper and made it into panels and enlarged the card to a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  The treats were fussy cut, no dies...

Today I'm sharing my card using the Impression Obsession Scribble Tree Die-441R on some shimmery silver paper,  some snowflake dp and matte embellishments.

Guest DT Quick Creations

Hello there!

I'm sharing a cute little card using one of my favorite stamp companies, Sugar Pea Designs.  This set is called Merry Christmoose.  Paired with the perfect 6x6 paper from Kaisercraft called Frosting.

Card design is simple to describe.  Stamped, colored and then paired with embellishments from my stash.  A Bit of rustic feel with the twine and the burlap flowers.

Guest DT Beary Sweet

Hello friends!

I have a share for Quick Creations Stamps from Doodle Dragon called Beary Sweet.

I created my card using the stamp called Beary Sweet from Doodle Dragon Designs, the DP is from Doodlebug called Here comes Santa, a random couple of snowflakes that I found in my embellie drawer that I then covered in Tim Holtz ink and Nuvo Mousse.  This is a technique I learned at a retreat in Austin Texas hosted by the UBER fabulous Lydia Fiedler.  You will also see some Nuvo Drops on the ends of the white snowflake.  I LOVE these Nuvo Products!!!!

Blog Hop with CC Designs and Snow Boys

Today is RELEASE DAY for the new NOVEMBER Stamps at C.C. Designs. As you have seen from our Preview Days, these new stamps revolve around those chilly, wintry days....except for those last minute mermaids that made their way into this release! And, don't forget about the 12 new DOVEART stamps that were released at the end of October. You have a lot of amazing choices this month for your stamping needs.

Today I am sharing another card using the Snow Boys stamp set.  I have paired it with the newly released Winter Bench and Snowman Sentiments.  I thought it would be a fun element to add if I used the Holiday Tag Cutter Die along with the Holiday Background stamp from the October Release.  I simply stamped the diagonal in one color, turned it to go criss cross plaid style and stamped it in an alternate color to match my Lawn Fawn Winter DP.  I added the Cutter Make a Card #11 die tree behind my image panel and added some Cutter Snowflakes

Reindeer Games ~ CC Designs

Hey Peeps!  Sharing a SUPER cute card using the newest release from CC Designs Stamps.  This set is called Reindeer Games from the Roberto Rascals collection.

He's set on a pretty package looking just like a present from Santa's bag of goodies.  Lawn Fawn Christmas Plaid, SU Real Red ribbon, SU Pine boughs dies and colored with Copics.  I added some mother of pearl bling as falling and fallen snow .  This little fellow was colored up with Copic markers.

CC Designs Day 3 Release Previews!

Hello there friends!!!! 

Today is day 3 for the CC Designs release previews!  Today I am sharing my project with you using the little cutie called Peppermint! 

I created a tag for you using the CUTE stamp called Peppermint, the new Holiday Background stamp (1 of 2) and the Tag Cutter die.  The sentiment comes from the Holiday Sentiment set.

I created my paper loop by running my bone folder over the paper like I was curling it several times then flipped it over and ran it on the other side.  This breaks down the fibers and allows you to peel the paper apart leaving a suede like looking paper. *tip for you :)

Your Next Stamp Challenge 46 ~ Christmas Magic

HEY FRIENDS!!!!!!

It's time for a new challenge over at Your Next Stamp!!!!  This is a sketch/color challenge.  This time I created using the sketch!

This is Christmas Magic.  I simply water colored a misty foggy Winter sky with my Zig clean colored markers, stamped a double inked moon, misted with water then added the sleigh in Jet Black ink.  Some Tiny Twinkles were added to the sky and Simple Stories DP.

Your Next Stamp~ Challenge 45

Hey Your Next Stamp friends!!!!  It's time for another challenge!!!!  It's a SUPER fun one!!!!  I combined both the sketch and the color challenge to create THIS card!!!!! 

I made my card using Snow Much Joy stamp set!!!!  Some of the Tree Trio dies, Magic Pastel Sparkly Gumdrops and dimensionals and BOOM!!!!  :)

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge: Embossing

Hey Krafty Peeps!  It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!!

Today's challenge is to use embossing!!!  I have always loved this form of embossing and have never really been able to figure out the proper way to do it... until this past weekend at OnStage with Stampin Up.... we were told to ink up the side of the embossing folder that is the largest.  With the folder closed you will see one side that is larger than the other, ink that one!!!!!!

SO, I came home and tried it.  Literally a 5 minute card and that's because I decided to change my matting color and ink for sentiment after stamping it onto a piece of paper and realizing it appeared red not the Strawberry Slush I love!  lol

SO.... here is my embossing card using Kraftin Kimmie Stamps newly released set called "New Christmas Cheer" by Becky!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Winter Fun!

Hey Krafty Peeps!  It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie!!!

This week it's Winter Fun!  I pulled out my go to sets from Becky for this one!  CAS is the way to go for these mass production cards we all seem to NEED to make, so I'm trying to get ahead of the game... Only 8 more Fridays until Christmas dont'cha know! ;/  YIKES!

OK so I grabbed some Crumb Cake SU cardstock, my Versamark ink pad , an embossing folder (retired SU), some clear SU bubbles and  the New Christmas Cheer stamp set and got to work.

FUN right??  Yes, I just HAD to get this little tree with plans to use it for last release then guess who forgot I had it... HA!

OK so Kimmie is away on VACAY but she is sharing some FUN and JOY with us all!!!  She is having a KILLER $ALE!!!!  90, yes NINETY sets are up to 50% off... but ONLY until tomorrow!!!!!  HURRY!!!!!!

I created my card using a large sleigh from Kaisercraft that I colored with UTEE in Red and Viva Metallic rub in Silver.  Some fun dots in the corner and DONE!  :)  Simple is FUN! lol
