Impression Obsession ~Flowers for a friend

Welcome to our new challenge -  Flowers for a Friend!
Show us your Florals!
Get inspired by the wonderful Impression Obsession Team

I created my card using a SUPER cute set called Country Floral Set.  I stamped them repeatedly using my MISTI to get an entire background then colored them with my Copics and used glitter pens, glossy accents, white gel pen and some mixed media pens.  I used a piece of pink chiffon mirror card as my matting.

Follow the guidelines below to enter challenge and have a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate for use in our online store. Good luck!

Impression Obsession DIE Obsession

We have set aside a couple days to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects!
Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today over at the IO BLOG

I had a few more valentine cards to make so here we go!  I created this card by using Tonic Papers and the Scribble Heart die.  I just paper pieced in the cut out pieces of the textured paper and it was done!  SUPER fast and so pretty with the mirrored card stock.

Old is New with Impression Obsession

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps.
You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog!

Today I created a rainbow valentines card using "You're in my heart" stamp set and IO hybrid inks in Cherry, Orange, Canary, Shamrock, Navy and Royal Purple.

Impression Obsession Die Cut Obsession

We have set aside a couple days to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog

I created a clear card using the Sailboat Frame die. I cut it 3 times. Once was in glitter paper which I added to the front of one of the solid white pieces, then added adhesive to the front of the die and added it to the inside of the card to cover up the adhesive. The sentiment comes from the clear set called Introverting. It's a hilarious set!

I used a SUPER cheap piece of glitter paper so please excuse the random spots on this card. You can only see them when you are loading to your blog apparently LOL

For todays card I used an older cover a card and a sweet sentiment.  The CAC was stamped using distress inks then shifted in my MISTI and inked with versamark and inked then embossed with twinkling clear embossing powder.  I stamped the sentiment in one of the distress inks, then overstamped with versamark and clear embossed it.  I then took the left over ink on the CAC and added it to the sentiment panel to just pick up a hint of the image and clear embossed that.

Impression Obsession - Happy Haunting

Hello there friends!  It's time for another challenge over at the Impression Obsession blog!  This challenge is Happy Haunting.  SO, I just had to use this ADORABLE clear set called Monster Mash.  There are several monsters to choose from and some fun sentiments, but I had to use a favorite of mine called Be My Boo!

I created my card on a panel of Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  I sprinkled Infusions Slime and spritzed with water, then I came in with a Nuance powder that had a similar limey green color in it and spritzed it.  I added a stencil over the top when it was dried with black distress oxide ink in Black soot.  I stamped my sentiment in the same ink.  My monster was stamped in IO Hybrid Royal Purple ink and colored with copics.  His shoes were glittered up with Tonic shimmer pen and I added 3mm google eyes and then covered those with liquid lacquer.  Some random Nuvo drops added here and there and then decided to bling up the "boo" with the tonic shimmer pen also.

Thanks for popping in and have a great week!

Impression Obsession challenge ~Make it Sparkle

Hello there!  Welcome to a new challenge from Impression Obsession!  This challenge it's about sparkle.  Full details on the challenge can be found at the Impression Obsession blog.

I created my sparkle in a non glitter way!  I actually used embossing powder and it does sparkle!  I created my background with magenta nuance powders sprinkled onto a wet baby wipe.  I spritzed with water and used my Misty with the Tree CAC on it to press into the water color paper.  I dried the ink, then applied versamark ink and bronze embossing powder.  The sentiment I treated with 2 of the lighter colors of nuance powders and then stamped the sentiment from "Give Thanks Always"

For my card this challenge I used the Gift Card Fold Over along with a background I created with alcohol inks and a stencil.

I used another piece of the background for the card insert panel.  This is the FASTEST giftcard holder i have EVER made.... no measuring or guessing as to where to put your slits or extra strength tape for the middle section to hold the card!  A TOTAL BREEZE!!!!

Impression Obsession Challenge

Hey friends!  Welcome to a new challenge from Impression Obsession.  It's that time of year.  Christmas in July! Woot!!!!  150 days until Christmas!!!!  Can you believe that!!!! YAY!  I already have some gifts purchased with Toys R Us closing!  Saved some BIG BUCKAROONIES!!!!

Anyway, I digress.... I created my card using the tiny candy cane from the Nutcracker Suite CL782 in clear embossing ink and powder.  I colored my watercolor paper up with Candied Apple and Fired Brick distress inks.  I had watched a you tube that Canson watercolor paper was great for Distress inks, I'm gonna have to disagree here.  BUT.... away I went.  I then stamped the Curtsey silhouette E13710 in clear embossing ink and black embossing powder over the top.  The sentiment Being Naughty D17146 was stamped onto black cardstock and white embossing powder was used.

Check out the blog for all those playing along.  In fact, come play with us! :)

Here's a handy list to help you out with enjoying all the creations!

IO Challenge _Happy Colors

Hello Friends!  Today is the start of a new challenge over at the Impression Obsession blog.  The challenge is Happy Colors... Colors that make you happy!!!

I personally am a purple fan, however, Flamingos are my absolute favorite animal.  SO... I had to go with Happy PINK and then added a splash of green for the background like a palm tree :)

I used the dies Flamingo Set and the sentiment comes from Elegant Feathers.

I swirled some Twisted Citron on a piece of white card stock, then spritzed it with water and blotted it up with a paper towel.  I added two of the four Flamingos that come in the set of dies and have them snuggling.  Some jewels were added and that makes the card!

Come play along with us and make sure that you check out all the Design Team members playing today too!

IO Challenge Foodie Fun

Hello there!!!!  It's time for NEW CHALLENGE!!!!!

Today the challenge is to create something foodie!  I created 2 projects for you.  the first one is a mixed media page for my disc journal.  I used the stamp set le soleil for my page.  I colored the main images including the margarita on ice *foodie* and fussy cut them and adhered them to the page.

For my second project I created a fun little card using my io hybrid inks like distress inks.  I smooshed onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and applied with a blending pad.  I stamped the image from the Let's BBQ clear set and added some pearl drops and clear gel to the big splotch and bottles!  FUN right??!!

Here are the other challenge cards for you to check out!

For today's card I chose to use Cuddle Bunnies.  This is a set of 3 bunnies and I created several masks for them, I used a tip from Jennifer McGuire to stack 3 post it notes together then stamp the image and cut all three at once!  HUGE time saver.  My bunnies were colored with Copic markers and then covered with Wink of Stella for the sugared look!  I created a PILE O PEEPS!!!!! :)   Little Things pink pearls were added and SU paper was used!

IO Challenge ~ I Adore You

Hey Friends!  It's time for a new challenge over at Impression Obsession~  Today's is I Adore You.  This little girl reminds me of my daughter.  Feisty and Lovable all together.  This stamp is D19752 Girl Power.    The background was created with a background I made, I believe with Nuance Powders.  I stamped a new cover a card CC303 Spring Garden over the top and then added some red gems for the flower centers.  I think that the Cover a Cards are THE funnest stamps to use.  SO versatile.  Quick coloring on the little girl and that was it!  BOOM!  SUPAH FAST!!!!!

Here are the card makers for this week!!!
