Going Green~ A Note from the Funny Farm

Hello friends!!!!

I'm here with my last challenge card as a Krafty Girl for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!

I can't tell you how AWESOME it has been playing with these FABULOUS stamps, working for a SUPER great Boss Lady, and rubbing shoulders with her BEYOND WOW Krafty Girls!!!!!

I figured I'd go out with a NOTE FROM THE FUNNY FARM!!!! :)

Seriously, how effective is this?  Simple Zig Watercolor markers, then stamped over the top .  I canted the sentiment because, well, I SCREWED UP stamping directly onto the card!  LOL!  Yep, TRULY the funny farm, although I wasn't laughing at the time!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge ~ Summer

Good Morning Kraftin Kimmie Friends!!!!!

Today is a new challenge day.  We are challenged to make a SUMMER card....

Well, lemme tell ya.... from the FIRST moment I saw this image THIS is what popped into my head...

"Tell me about it, STUD!"  YES!  Sandi from GEASE!!!!  SO, let's reqind a bit to the beginning of the movie and all sing....

"SUMMER LOVIN', HAD ME A BLAST..... SUMMER LOVIN' HAPPENED SO FAST!!!"

EEEK!  Doesn't she look like Sandi????  Well she is actually called Joanie, but it's probably just copy right blah blah... ;)

Yes, she's retired.... and I'm sorry, but I HAD TO USE HER!!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday Gnome Home

Hey There!!!!! 

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday challenge from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!! 

Today I pulled out the stamp set Happy New Home and got busy coloring it up with Copics.

The house is the only pop of color on the card and I topped it off with some cloud dies in Crumb Cake .  I really like this look!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge ~ Create a Stamped Background

Good Morning!!!!

There is a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!

Today we are to stamp our own backgrounds!!!!

I created my card by stamping the butterflies from Butterfly Dreams on the back of a piece of Vellum, heat embossing with white powder then flipping it over and stamping the sentiment on matted panel on the front.

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday

I created my card using the set called Oceans of Love!  The little Blowfish cracks me up!  I colored my card using my Zig Water color markers....

It's RELEASE TIME at Kraftin Kimmie!!!!!

YAHOOO!!!!!  It's the RELEASE HOP at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!  I'm hoping you are taking advantage of the bad news of the Postal Strike in Canada. 

I chose to use m y Book Dragon again for the release hop and AGAIN used a class from Kit n Clowder.  I created stones for the path he's laying on reading his book!!!!

Well so far we have shared Witches and Dragons... how about some kiddos?  Yep!  Cheryl Grant with today's set!  Make Your Own Magic!

I went with a fun shaker card for my card today!!!  The sentiment says "The Wand Chooses the Wizard!"  Some fun DP and a background stamp were used along with a wooded key, some new rouched ribbon from Stampin Up and sequins for my shaker!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peeks Day 2 ~ Book Dragon

Welcome to day 2 of the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps sneak peek.  Today we are sharing a set called Book Dragon.

I was busy with my Kit n Clowder classes so here's another.  I used the rainbow mermaid class for my bookmark!

SO much fun to color and make him MAGICAL!!!!!  Perfect accent for your favorite book worm, err, DRAGON!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Fancy Flamingos

Hello there friends!!! It's time for another Wonderful Wednesday over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  

Today I am sharing a card I made using the new Fancy Flamingos stamp set!!!  I ADORE Flamingos and this set is full of FUN!

I created my card using some Doodlebug goodies; washi tape and shaped sprinkles.  I then used the flower accent piece stamping randomly between the tape, added my sentiment, hit it with the clear gloss pen and then mounted my image on some Melon Mambo paper after coloring with Copics.

SUPER fun right??? !!!!!  Don't forget, the Gimmie Kimmie Kits are still available... grab all of the latest released sets at a DI$COUNT!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge ~ Flowers

Hello friends!!! It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  Todays challenge is FLOWERS!  How could I not use the new Buds n Blooms stamp set from Becky Pearce?

Well, I couldn't!  LOL

SO, Here is my card for today!  I stamped on the back of Stampin Up Printed Vellum in Watermelon Wonder (stamped off once) and Old Olive and Memento Tuxedo Black.

Isn't that pretty?  The vellum pattern shows through, the blooms are soft and the sentiment pops!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday

Well HELLO Krafty Friends!!!!  It's time for a Wonderful Wednesday challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!

Today I used the newly released At The Beach stamp set!  

Watercolor is all the rage right now and I have not quite mastered my patience on it, so I cheated and used my watercolor background stamp from Stampin Up along with my SU Markers and a water spritzer.  Colored the stamp with markers, spritzed with water and then stamped.  I then took the At The Beach stamp set and inked it up in Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped it over the top.  I took one word from the sentiment Sand! Surf! Sun! colored it with my marker and stamped it onto a wooden piece from my stash.  Clean, Simple and Beautiful!

Kraftin Kimmie Blog Hop

Hello Krafty Peeps!!!  It's TIME to SHOP at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!!  WOOT!!!

I created a FUN shaker card using the goodies from the Guest DT packages that were sent out and Dolly Diver for my card today!

Just LOVE this image!!!  Seriously EVERYTHING (minus image) here is from the kit!!!  There was a TONS of AWESOME in that thing!!!!  I have LOADS left over for more cards!  **YAY**

Kraftin Kimmie ~ Let your light shine

Well, it's almost time to shop!!!  Last peek for the month!!!  FABULOUS release right???

Well, here comes a show stopper!!!  Let your light shine is todays set!!!

I created my card using embossing resist with one of the bold sentiments from this set.

I stamped in versamark, embossed in clear, added Spray mists and then took my iron and a piece of copy paper and removed the embossing powder.  I then hit the edges with Tim Holtz distress inks.

I used my smallest star die from Stampin Up and then used silver glimmer paper and placed that die cut star in the hole!  Wrapped some twine and done!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak #5 ~ Fancy Flamingos

Woo Hoo!!!!  Here today with another Sneak Peek for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!  Today's set is called Fancy Flamingos!!!!

I am a BIG fan of Flamingos.  I'd love to move to Florida, live in a trailer park and have my yard FULL of Big Pink Plastic FLAMINGOS!!!!!  lol  They are SO stinking CUTE!!!!!

I was THRILLED when I saw this set.  There are TONS of fun stamps in this set to make it SO perfect for ANYone on your card list.... shoot it gives you a REASON to MAKE a card list!!!!  HA!

Here is my card with some fancy tricks! ;)

Now you see I tried masking, then I flipped which bird I masked then when that still wasn't right I colored up both sets and then snipped the head off of the dark pink flamingo and pieced it on!  LOL  SEAMLESS right???  YEP!  I **squealed** when it was done!!!  I stamped the pineapples onto my matting piece, ran it through an embossing folder, added a TCP cut up, some YNS glitters and stamped the sentiment!  BOOYAH!!!!  Insta-Florida

Kraftin Kimmie Day 4 ~ A day at the beach

Good Morning Kraftin Kimmie friends!!!  Today we are sharing cards using 2 sets!!!!  Dolly Diver and A Day at the Beach.

I chose A day at the beach and paired it with Sweet Summer Sentiments!

I stamped my image and then colored with Copics, made some clouds in the sky and wrapped it up in Kraft twine!  Simple Dimple! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek day 3 ~ Floatin Fiona

Hey Hey Hey!  It's DAY THREE of the Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peeks!!!!

Can you believe the CUTE so far??  Well, it keeps on Cute-ing!!!!!  TODAY we have a FABULOUS set from Annie called Floatin Fiona!  We also have a TON of KK Peeps sharing today!!!!  SERIOUSLY AWESOME KK FANS!!!!!  They were able to purchase a sneak peek set pre order last release and get to play along!!!!  They received a kit FULL of stuffs, and it was AWESOME.... I hear it just might happen again in September HINT HINT HINT!!!!!

OK so for my card today I didn't use kit pieces but I DID create an AWESOME card to share with you!

I used dies, punches and FUN DP for my card today!

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday

Hey Friends!  

It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!  This week it's Bling and Sequins....

Today I created a card using the beautiful Buds & Blooms set and Sincere Sympathy both by Becky.  

I stamped the outline in Memento Tuxedo Black and then grabbed my Basic Gray SU ink pad, inked up the solid fill in stamp, stamped it off once on scratch paper and then stamped the bloom.  Pearls in the center of the flowers, because, well, BLING is always needed!  The sentiment was stamped onto a a piece of cardstock then mounted onto a panel of basic black.
