IO Challenge - Christmas in July

Hello friends!!!!  Today is another NEW CHALLENGE from Impression Obsession!!!  This week we are going all CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!!!!!

I revisited some AWESOME older items paired with a NEW sentiment.  I used Humbug (A13574) along with an older die Pine Branch Die (DIE021-N).  I used an older Stampin Up retired DP for the base and pine branches.  The die is a single facing die, so I just cut one branch from the back side of the DP to get it to be an opposite facing branch!   I stamped the sentiment, mounted it onto a mat and adhered my pine branches to the back side, then placed dimensionals to pop it up.  Some gems for berries and some retired sweater ribbon from SU.

FUN right??!!!  LOVED how this evolved from my initial CAS idea, think generic items from the 70's.  Just black and white and the name.... HA!  I'm really glad my wheels kept spinning while making this!!!! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge ~ Summer

Good Morning Kraftin Kimmie Friends!!!!!

Today is a new challenge day.  We are challenged to make a SUMMER card....

Well, lemme tell ya.... from the FIRST moment I saw this image THIS is what popped into my head...

"Tell me about it, STUD!"  YES!  Sandi from GEASE!!!!  SO, let's reqind a bit to the beginning of the movie and all sing....

"SUMMER LOVIN', HAD ME A BLAST..... SUMMER LOVIN' HAPPENED SO FAST!!!"

EEEK!  Doesn't she look like Sandi????  Well she is actually called Joanie, but it's probably just copy right blah blah... ;)

Yes, she's retired.... and I'm sorry, but I HAD TO USE HER!!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge ~ Create a Stamped Background

Good Morning!!!!

There is a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!

Today we are to stamp our own backgrounds!!!!

I created my card by stamping the butterflies from Butterfly Dreams on the back of a piece of Vellum, heat embossing with white powder then flipping it over and stamping the sentiment on matted panel on the front.

7 Kids Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Hey There friends!!!!  It's time for another challenge at 7 Kids College Fund.

Today I pulled out my Avery Elle ~ Home Sweet Home stamp set, the Avery Elle ~ Pierced Clouds die and my MISTI stamping tool

I used Stampin Up papers and button, along with some twine.

I stamped the Tee Pee and then placed a mask over it before I used my MISTI to create the patter on the back ground.  Some Copic coloring and it was done! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday~ Mooshy Sqooshy LOVE

Hey Kraftin Kimmie Peeps!!!!  Today starts another challenge along with some WAY AWESOMENESS!!!!!

This week the challenge is Mooshy Sqooshy LOVE!!!!!

I created my card using the You're Nifty set!  It's paired with an older paper pad from my stash of Valentine's paper.... I seriously LOVE Valentines papers!!!!!!   I used a TCP cutup, rosette for some depth and a fun little bling.

CUTE right???  :)  OK so I promised some more awesomeness.... it doesn't end with my card.... READ THIS!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge

Hey Peeps!!!  It's time for the LAST challenge of January with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!  This week we are challenged by Marilyn to use three (3) Designer Papers!!

Now I got these new Doodlebug papers in the other day, ok probably a few weeks ago, and HAD to use them!  Doodlebug has to be my ALL TIME FAVE company!!!!

This is Lexi's Winter Fun!  I decided with all my friends getting so much snow, and me getting none.... I would play in the snow paper style!!! ;)  Twine, Doodlebug sprinkles and Glamour Dust were also used for my card.  Colored this baby up with Copics while listening to Kimmie on her Periscope Live!!!!

Don't forget Frugal Friday is UP and READY FOR SHOPPING.... there are some newer sets in there, because Kimmie is AWESOME like that.....

Black Friday Survivor with Kraftin Kimmie!

This weeks challenge is about Black Friday Survivors..... the challenge is to use Black and one other color.  CLEARLY I forgot that small detail!!!!!!

I stamped in versamark and used White Embossing powder then colored her up with my Prismacolor Pencils....
