Kraftin Kimmie Challenge ~ Create a Stamped Background

Good Morning!!!!

There is a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!

Today we are to stamp our own backgrounds!!!!

I created my card by stamping the butterflies from Butterfly Dreams on the back of a piece of Vellum, heat embossing with white powder then flipping it over and stamping the sentiment on matted panel on the front.

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge ~ Flowers

Hello friends!!! It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  Todays challenge is FLOWERS!  How could I not use the new Buds n Blooms stamp set from Becky Pearce?

Well, I couldn't!  LOL

SO, Here is my card for today!  I stamped on the back of Stampin Up Printed Vellum in Watermelon Wonder (stamped off once) and Old Olive and Memento Tuxedo Black.

Isn't that pretty?  The vellum pattern shows through, the blooms are soft and the sentiment pops!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie ~ Let your light shine

Well, it's almost time to shop!!!  Last peek for the month!!!  FABULOUS release right???

Well, here comes a show stopper!!!  Let your light shine is todays set!!!

I created my card using embossing resist with one of the bold sentiments from this set.

I stamped in versamark, embossed in clear, added Spray mists and then took my iron and a piece of copy paper and removed the embossing powder.  I then hit the edges with Tim Holtz distress inks.

I used my smallest star die from Stampin Up and then used silver glimmer paper and placed that die cut star in the hole!  Wrapped some twine and done!

Kraftin Kimmie Day 4 ~ A day at the beach

Good Morning Kraftin Kimmie friends!!!  Today we are sharing cards using 2 sets!!!!  Dolly Diver and A Day at the Beach.

I chose A day at the beach and paired it with Sweet Summer Sentiments!

I stamped my image and then colored with Copics, made some clouds in the sky and wrapped it up in Kraft twine!  Simple Dimple! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday

Hey Friends!  

It's time for a new challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!  This week it's Bling and Sequins....

Today I created a card using the beautiful Buds & Blooms set and Sincere Sympathy both by Becky.  

I stamped the outline in Memento Tuxedo Black and then grabbed my Basic Gray SU ink pad, inked up the solid fill in stamp, stamped it off once on scratch paper and then stamped the bloom.  Pearls in the center of the flowers, because, well, BLING is always needed!  The sentiment was stamped onto a a piece of cardstock then mounted onto a panel of basic black.

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge~ Animals

Hey Kraftin Kimmie Friends!!!  It's Saturday and time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! 

This week we are challenging you to use ANIMALS!!!!  Kraftin Kimmie has TONS of animal stamps to use.  I chose to use the SUPER cute set from Becky called Totally PAW-some!

Simple paper panels some bling and the sentiment that I used Stampin Up Slate Gray and stamped off on a scratch paper before stamping over the sentiment.

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek ~ Oceans of Love

YAY!!!!  It's the last day of peeks from Kraftin Kimmie and of course that means a PARTAY!!!!!

Yup over on FB we are having a release party to get these AWESOME Stamps released!!!!!

BUT WAIT.... we have to peek first!  ;)

Today Becky has created a SUPER cute set called Oceans of Love!!!!  It is FULL of FUN FUN FUN Critters!!!!
I paired it with the set from Day 1 called Ocean Background.  Pretty CAS here, stamped and colored and popped up.  got "fancy" and rounded the corners LOL

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!  This week it's Layer it Up!

I love to add layers and especially using a sentiment as the main focus.  Gives me a chance to really tear papers out of a pad and work em! ;)

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Challenge ~ Seeing Double

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!  This week Marilyn is our hostess and she is SEEING DOUBLE!!!!!  **Use TWO stamps for your card!!!!

I created my card using 2 images from the newly release set called Snail Mail!

I stamped my puppy then masked him then stamped the mail box, and would you lookie there!!!!  That cloud that I LOVE from You are my Sunshine is used also! ;) All images are colored with Copic markers.  I ran half of my paper through with the retired cloud embossing folder from Stampin Up!

Kraftin Kimmie Whimsical Gnomes Sneak Peeks

YAY It's DAY 2 of Sneak Peeks from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!  Today we have a set from Becky!!!!  Whimsical Gnomes!!!!  

I found an OLD paper pad in my stash called Oh Deer, and thought it was perfect for this set!!!! I paired with with some wooden dots and my Halloween goo punch turned upside down for whimsical grass!  lol  Easy masking to get this feller onto the stump!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek Day 5 - Butterfly Dreams

Hey Kraftin Kimmie Friends!!!!  It's the LAST day of sneak peeks.... not long now until you can have these goodies in your hot little shopping carts!!!!  

Today we are sharing another GORGEOUS set from Becky called Butterfly Dreams!  There are SO many gorgeous cards from the Krafty Girls today, excited to see what you all think!!!!

I created my card with a resist embossing idea.  I stamped the butterflies in Versarmark, clear embossing powder.  I then inked them up with some Tim Holtz distress inks.  I was too lazy to walk back across to my house to get my iron so I tried to remove the embossing powder with my ribbon iron, but it doesn't get hot enough, for obvious reasons so I just kept them embossed LOL  #whyfightit

I did the same thing with the inks on a sentiment panel and then stamped one of the itsy bitsy butterflies in TH ink and then cut it out and mounted it on a mini pop dot!  Viola!  Gorgeous card!

Kraftin Kimmie Day 4 - You are my Sunshine

Hey Kraftin Kimmie friends!!!!  It's DAY 4!!!!! Today we have a set from Becky Pearce!!!!  It's ADORBS and you know it from the Krafty Kard Kit!!!!!!

GAAAA!  LOVE IT!!!!

I did some simple masking and played with my crystal effects and created rain drops and a puddle!!!!  Super Simple and CUTE!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peeks Day 1 ~ Hello Spring

Hey Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Friends!!!  It's time for SNEAK PEEKS!!!!  YES!!!!  February release is right around the corner.... As usual the sets this month are MUST HAVES!!!!!

Today we are sneaking a set called Hello Spring from Becky!!!!!!

I had some fun with this set and created a little card using a little trick I'd like to share with you!  First, here's my card!

OK Bright and FUN right???  Well, lemme tell ya sumpin!  This was created all with ONE stamp and a sentiment!

OK so I took the balloon stamp and the images onto my card stock

Then I took the stamp and flipped it over and used my finger as my stamping block and applied ink to the back side of the stamp

Next still using my finger as my block I stamped the colored balloon onto my stamped image

and there you have it.... it is a colored image that has the look of water coloring.

Pretty nifty huh?  LOL  Not all of your stamps can do this but simple shapes most definitely can!!!  Just a new way to get some fun out of your stamps!!!  I hope you enjoyed this and give it a try! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Day 5 Sneakie Peek~ Totally Paw-some

Hey Peeps!!!  It's the final Sneaky Peek day at Kraftin Kimmie and today we have a TOTALLY PAW-SOME set for you! ;)

I just ADORE these sweet sets from Becky!!!!  Animal lovers UNITE *and make cards*

I created my card with some more of the Authentique DP that Kimmie carries called "Devoted"!  YES!!!!  It has BOTH Cats and Dogs papers!!!!  I stamped some of the sweet little paws onto a die, the sentiment and image onto hearts and the bone paper is covered with a cut up from TCP and some Crushed Satin ribbon.  BLING of course finishes it off!

Hey Krafty Peeps!!!  It's day FOUR of Sneak Peeks over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!  Today's set is from the FABULOUS designer you know for her BEAUTIFUL sentiment sets... BECKY!!!!  A Purrr-fect Day is all about our Kitties!!!!!  I created a fun little gift card pack with my stamps!

Thick Hemp twine for the bow, and a Flair piece on a simple belly band! 

I used each of the kitty images and some of the sentiment or supporting images for my cards!!  SO cute and a great little gift for the cat lover!

Hey Krafty Peeps!  It's the first Wonderful Wednesday of 2016 over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog!!!!

I have a SUPER cute card for you today featuring a newly released stamp set from Becky's collection of sentiment stamps called Love Story Sentiments!

Isn't that YUMMY??!!!  I also used this months sketch AGAIN.... I'm telling ya, this sketch is SO super AWESOME!!!!!  This is the 3rd card using this sketch!  LOL

For my card I used some Echo Park "Blowing Kisses" DP, Stampin Up! ribbon & cardstock in black and Melon Mambo (fave pink evah), CTMH bitty twinkles, Simon Says Die called Heart Breeze, The Cats Pajamas die, Heidi Swapp Bows and of course the KK Set called Love Story Sentiment.

I created my card using a large sleigh from Kaisercraft that I colored with UTEE in Red and Viva Metallic rub in Silver.  Some fun dots in the corner and DONE!  :)  Simple is FUN! lol
