TGF Guest Designer Day

Hello TGF Friends! 

This month I am going to share with you some cards as a Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm Stamps!!!!

There was a design team call sent out to past designers to become a permanent team member so I happily applied.  Sadly, I wasn't picked, but was asked to be a Guest DT for July.... so here I am! :)

This is actually the card I submitted for my application!  The 2nd picture is showing the action wobbler I used on the balloon!

This set is apparently retired.  Sorry As you can see all images were die cut with the matching dies, then the image was set inside of the die cut.  The largest balloon was treated the same way except raised on an action wobbler.

IO Challenge - Halloween

Hello Friends!!!  Welcome to another Impression Obsession Challenge.  Today we are showcasing Halloween/ Halloween-ish cards!!!!  I created a couple for you using some new goodies and of course the AWESOME IO Hybrid inks.

For this card I used the IO Hybrid inks Peony, Lime and Violet by smooshing them onto my TH mat added a mist of water and using it like a water color, I then stamped my Halloween Words Cover a Card in IO Hybrid black.  I die cut the Halloween witch line die 4 times and glued them together to get a bigger affect.  It was then placed onto a Copper foil circle. 

For this card I couldn't resist these SUPER cute BOO! Balloon stamps (that have matching dies) !!!  I used the IO Hybrid inks again and then covered them with heat n stick and then some mica flakes and clear glitter.  Like a little party celebration on the card! :)

Hey Friends!  Today I'm sharing my challenge card for Impression Obsession using some new stamps!!!!  GOTTA love new stamps!!!!  I seem to always need a Birthday card and never have one!  LOL  SO.... Here is a SUPER quick card.  I used Surprise as a background stamp, stamping randomly in Real Red.  I colored the Balloon Bouquet with my copics added some white gel pen for "shine" and then fussy cut it.  I popped up my sentiment A Whole Year and added some sequins in colors to match the balloons.  Super simple.

CC Designs Balloon Heart

Hello everyone!  The February New Release is AVAILABLE!!!!!  I am here today sharing my card for CC Designs called Balloon Heart.  It's hard to pick a favorite from this release but this little gal is in a 6 way tie for 1st place! ;)

I had a lot of fun with layering up this card making it all soft and lovey dovey! I used some older DP, a doily, pearls and of course some of the AWESOME Layering Tags metal dies.

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peeks Day 1 ~ Hello Spring

Hey Kraftin Kimmie Stamp Friends!!!  It's time for SNEAK PEEKS!!!!  YES!!!!  February release is right around the corner.... As usual the sets this month are MUST HAVES!!!!!

Today we are sneaking a set called Hello Spring from Becky!!!!!!

I had some fun with this set and created a little card using a little trick I'd like to share with you!  First, here's my card!

OK Bright and FUN right???  Well, lemme tell ya sumpin!  This was created all with ONE stamp and a sentiment!

OK so I took the balloon stamp and the images onto my card stock

Then I took the stamp and flipped it over and used my finger as my stamping block and applied ink to the back side of the stamp

Next still using my finger as my block I stamped the colored balloon onto my stamped image

and there you have it.... it is a colored image that has the look of water coloring.

Pretty nifty huh?  LOL  Not all of your stamps can do this but simple shapes most definitely can!!!  Just a new way to get some fun out of your stamps!!!  I hope you enjoyed this and give it a try! :)
