Impression Obsession Winter Dies day 2

Another day that I am sharing NEW DIES for Winter from Impression Obsession!!!!  I can't believe how many beauties are being released.  This next die is a MUST HAVE!!!!!  Seriously!!!!  It's like the pine bough die that I used yesterday!  TOTAL staple in your arsenal.

Today I created 2 cards with 2 simple cuts from the DEER FRAME die!!!!  I die cut the deer frame out of gold foil and white glitter paper then pieced them together, matted on Kraft then placed that onto a white card base.  I added gold thread and a ornament bauble.

Here I'm trying to show you all the shine!!!

ANYWAY... I digress... Here is one of my cards using the NEW goodies:

On this card I used layered pinecones, layered pinecone diepine branch,

For my card this challenge I used the Gift Card Fold Over along with a background I created with alcohol inks and a stencil.

I used another piece of the background for the card insert panel.  This is the FASTEST giftcard holder i have EVER made.... no measuring or guessing as to where to put your slits or extra strength tape for the middle section to hold the card!  A TOTAL BREEZE!!!!

Impression Obsession DT Thursday with Kelli Jo

Hello everyone!

Today it's my turn to share with you an extra creation.  I have a SUPER fun card and unbelievably simple to recreate!  I was recently at a stamping retreat with the AWESOMEST people, Jeanne and Vicki from the DT.  I have been on line friends with these two stamping royalty people for YEARRRRS and FINALLY got to meet Vicki!!!!  I met Jeanne 2 years ago at another retreat.  ANYWAY..... the technique can be found here.  Let's get on to the card I created AT retreat because I planned ahead in my packing!  YAY ME!!!!

My card features two dies.  That's it.  The City Landscape Layers and the Best Day Ever die.  I die cut the sentiment 3 times using "stick it" on the back and adhered them together for more dimension. I added some washi tape that was a gift from my friend Ceal and some older Stampin Up paper pumpkin embellishments.  Image was matted on black then added to an A2 card base!   It's kind of cool how the colors make the cityscape look Arizona-ish! :)

Thank you for popping in and leaving me some notes!
