Speedy Fox 105 Blues

Good Morning!  Today Speedy Fox and Friends is challenging us to use shades of Blue.  I went with a fairly simple card and used the blue shades, a wooden butterfly and a sentiment.  Sorry for the short write up, however Blogger ate my post and I am headed to the shower to get ready for work.  LOL  Enjoy!  :)

It's make your own flowers week!  I used the AWESOME Sunflower Cut Ups for mine, a bit of Bazzill Bling buttons, Bazzill DP, Twine in Lemonade.  The sentiment is from Snowballs stamp set.  Faux stitches and a ATTEMPT at CASE'ing Julie Masse on her sketch from the Go To Sketches... Lace self adhesive from I Heart Papers and this baby is DONE!!!!  LOVE THIS !!!!

I MADE IT!!!  lol!  I was able to complete a sketch for MFT and haven't done that in QUITE awhile... :(  I really DO plan on catching up.... just need a few REAL days off! ;)

I used Glitz DP and crocheted ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel, SU Pearls, MFT Behind the Camera stamp/die combo, fancy flourish Dienamic and TONS of Jody Boosters! I used a bit of Glossy Accents on the "lens" to make it realistic and embossed the background paper and camera with the SU Houndstooth CB folder!  Thanks for stopping by! :)

I just went with a simple card in pink with a bunch of bling.  a TOUGH cookie to photograph.... but take my word for it, it DOES MATCH! ;)

MFP Flaps my Wattles

I purchased some hand dyed feathers from a gal on Etsy... and I can't find her Etsy  address right now, but she is AWESOME... I knew the second I saw them that I had to use them with last months release called Flaps My Wattles!  I LOVE me some Chickens.  I used to have 15 of them before we moved to town.  They are THE best company while doing yard work.  They just cluck cluck cluck around waiting for a juicy morsel to be unearthed while weeding.  I sure do miss those gals!!! :(

Here is my card using some MME DP and the Chicken Wire BG Stamp and Flaps my Wattles and the cool feathers!  Some Red/White Gingham ribbon and some baby braddies finish this off! :)  Colored with Touch Twin Markers.  I added some Viva Pearl Pen in Black to the center of the Rooster's "flowers" and some clear gel to the Hen's stems.  Their beaks, gobble wobble and feet!

Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 104

Hello Speedy Friends!!! :)  It's time for another challenge here at the MFP Challenge blog.  This week the challenge is sewing.  Well, it truly IS a Challenge for me... I am the one that has tried to staple on a button... SERIOUSLY! ;)  No, it doesn't work so just in case you were wondering... FAIL!!!! :(  Today I used the SUPER pretty set called You are Cherished Stamp Set.  I added a bit of a Trellis feel to the card by using a Memory Box die and then ran it through my Xyron X sticker maker...well, apparently I still don't have that X Factor as my die had a TON of stick'em left on it, try as I might to burnish that sucker to leave it behind... SO, me being CRAFT LIKE THAT, dumped some ultra fine glitter on it to give it that Sparkle Factor! ;)  Yes, there is ALWAYS a reason to use glitter in my world! ;)  A Heart Dienamic was also used and then "sewn" together with some purple hemp twine from The Ribbon Carousel a bow at the bottom and viola! ;)

The image was colored using my Touch Twin Markers, oh how I love these things.

HA!  I saw this Mojo Monday sketch on Carole's link and KNEW I had to play... I mean what a fast simple sketch!!!  I used these stamps that I was MADE to get by Julie Masse and LOVE them... cute lil buggers... I decided a Rehab Rebel NEEDED sassy papers and what not so I used the EP Dots and Stripes.  This is paper I had to buy TWICE.  The first time someone in the Post Office route from New Jersey to me decided that wanted it more than I did so I got it at Corinna's house!  Anyway... Here's my PSA Smirk card!!! :) :) :)

SO, I had GRAND plans to complete the sketches each and every month, however, HOW I missed the last 3 months?  beats me... I mean you have a WHOLE MONTH to complete them... I guess I just lost track of time???  LOL  That is a WHOLE lotta time, but I'm sure you can all relate to things just flying by.  SO, I decided to pick back up this month, and I'm glad I did.  You talk about a GREAT Sketch and OH SO EASY to complete!  Here is my card using MFT Whose That Musical Girl and some Kaiser Craft DP.

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 103~Rainbows

It's time for another Challenge over on the Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge blog!!!!  This week, RAINBOWS!!!  Yep, that's right... you will LOVE the variety that the Challenge DT came up with, so many creative minds working on this... here is my version.  I just used the single butterfly from the Today, Tomorrow and Always stamp set and some colored inks.  The antenna's/antenni.... ??  anywho, I put pearls on top of their little head wires! lol

YNS Fun Fact Friday ~ Sneak Peek

I know, I know... not real sneaky now that all the peeks have been out but I wanted to call it that anyway! ;)  hahaha!!!  this card uses the new release stamp Your So Tweet!  I decided to go with a CAS card with a bit of paper piecing... Fun Fact?  Well lemme tell ya somethin' (in the voice of Jim Carey)... This card took me 30 minutes to create.  If you are in need of a fast, simple but GREAT card (like this one ;) ) then go with a CAS and paper piece it.  It packs a punch but takes little to no time to create.... the longest was finding matching embellies, I have to buy some more blue CS... it was a SQUEAK to get it all to fit on my scraps!  LOL  I realised AFTER I had most of the card complete!  ha!  PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one that has that issue... anyway.  I can NOT believe how SWEET you all have been with my cards and your comments!!  Makes this little stamper QUITE HAPPY!!!! :)  Here's my card and make sure you hit the YNS Blog to see the other "peekers" ;)

My first card is a SNEAKY PEEK!!!  tee hee... happy lil guy got all dressed up for the celebration in Bo Bunny DP lol!  Some Sparklets and ribbon and of course a button with twine.

My next card ALSO uses Bo Bunny DP (hey, when it's still on your desk you just go with it! )  This is one of the LIMITED TIME Scrapfest Phiona stamps!!!  Yes, only $5... there are two so get the whole collection! ;)

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge ~Mothers Day

It's my FIRST official post as a Speedy Fox DT Member... YAY!!!  This week we are to make a Mother's Day Card.  I used the MFP Set called Black Eyed Susan's For Encouragement . I stamped the image onto Express Copic CS, and colored it with my Touch Twin Markers.  I added some Flower Soft in Brown .  The image was die cut out and matching border dies used.  The DP used on this card is Basic Grey (can't remember which one)... :(  Heat set Swarovski pearls and some pink ribbon finish this off... Susie has challenged us to create something "Easter-y" but there is a CATCH... yes, she's a sneakster, we MUST use a cut up (basket, grass, clouds) ... well, ME being a BIGGER sneakster is gonna claim creative license... you see I DO own the clouds and basket however I do NOT own the TCP Grass cut up, BUT... BUT I SAY.... I was on Susies blog the other day and she created grass by snipping paper and rolling it, fluffing it and just plain old making it look awesome... so I copy catted her. ;)  How's THAT for suckin' up?  tee hee... I used the ICC09 sketch but alas, it closed... DARN!.... but I DO love this card... and enough blah blah'ing from me... whatcha think?

This is some of the new stretch ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel, from May Arts.  It's burlap?  I'm too lazy to go look it up... but it comes in a variety of colors and you can stretch it fat or thin... I made mine, "chubby" ;)  LOVE this stuff and these Cut Ups...

YNS Fun Fact Friday!!!!!

It's Fun Fact Friday... today we are to share a Fun Fact or a helpful tidbit... I'm going to do both... see this card?

Well, here are my Fun Facts and Helpful tidbits all from one card! ;)

You see YNS has these AWESOME little things called Grab Bags.  Now I'm a TOTAL sucker for these things, no matter WHERE they are at, call me curious, call me nosey... I HAVE to know what is inside, so I ordered one... Now, the FUN FACT is this... this ENTIRE card was made using 3 stamps I received in said grab bag!!!  Yep, 3 stamps that went together to create the super cute card.  The leaves, the monkey and the sentiment!!!! Hee Hee!!!  I LOVED seeing that!!!!  Now for the helpful tidbit?  Yea ummm, said grab bag had 8 stamps in it and it was a whopping $5!!!  Now if THAT price doesn't help the ole stampin' budget I don't know what would... There are TONS of stamps on sale right now and you KNOW you wanna know what is inside a grab bag... dontcha!!! ;)  Well, I provided a link so get on it!!!  I'm planning on picking up another one!  LOL  SO, head on over to the YNS blog and see what the YNS DT'ers have in store for you!!!  I'll bet it's FUN!!!!! ;)

WELCOME TO YNS!!!!!!

Hello Crafty Peeps!!! :)  I get to play along with Karen and her Gang of Crafters for April!!!  YAY ME!!!!!!  SO... I was turned onto these stamps by Carole, you know that CRAZY ONE??? ;)  Yes, then of course along came Peggy, Susie etc... well you all know how it goes right?  Yup... SUCKED IN... these have got to be some of the CUTEST stamps around... and I wasn't too sure about the purple rubber at first... Ummm, ITS AWESOME!!!!  Seriously!!!!  SO anyway... I wanted to Welcome you to my Blog and Thank you all for your continued coming to my blog (hint hint) tee hee... Here is DIGGER!!!!! :)  LOVE that lil guy!!!

I stamped Digger on some Copic Express paper that my friend Corinna told me to try... **mistake** LOVE IT... I used an embossing folder on the sky, ran my grass die through with some DP from Cosmo Cricket-Garden variety and then a piece of brown paper was stamped with the "hole" part of Diggers image and then cut to make the real hole! ;)  Creative aren't I??? ;)  Some clouds from another die, used a bit of stickles on them to give them *oomph* and then jewels down at the bottom of the grass!  DIGGER IS DONE!
