IO Die Hop day 3


Welcome to the Impression Obsession Spring Die Release Celebration!
The Impression Obsession Spring Die Release Celebration starts today! Each day (April 1st - 3rd ) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am. Every single blog will have a $25 gift certificate to give away for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!

Todays card was created using 4 of the new dies.  Just pieces of some! ;)  Gotta love mix and match! 

My dies are Friend, Checkered Frames, Desert Scene and Stitched Tag 

I cut my tag out of wood veneer paper, added some Magenta powders to create my Desert sky.  The friend was made with foil, the cacti were colored with copics.  A super quick card in all actuality! Quick and looks like a million bucks! ;)

Impression Obsession Spring Hop day 5





Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2018 Spring Release Hop!
We have some beautiful new stamps to share AND Gift Certificates to give away!...

I began this card creation by playing with my Yupo paper.  I had purchased it after seeing a video by Jennifer McGuire several months ago, lost it, forgot about it, remembered about it and searched high and low.  FOUND IT.... well, I have seen it said that you "can't heat emboss on Yupo paper".... well me being me.... I challenged that rule.  I WON!  Now, mind you that you have to have your heat gun already super hot, and move it CONSTANTLY!!!!!!  I was able to heat emboss the CC283 Layered Roses that I stamped in IO Hybrid ink with clear embossing powder.  The ink stayed wet plenty long enough to get the powder on due to the slick surface.  I then decided HA! I'll use my scrap with the CC 265 X and O and emboss it also!  I added a piece of black ribbon to break up all the read, and then stamped the D13644 Thinking Silhouette in IO Hybrid and embossed it also.  I took some powders and made a night sky.  some small gems for stars and some red wire floss was circled around the piece and topped with a bow.

Impression Obsession Spring Hop day 4


Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2018 Spring Release Hop!  

Today's card features a new Cover a Card Stone Wall CC304 and Easter Morning J13662.  I took 3 squares of white card stock and centered them on top of each other without the matting.  I inked up the CAC and inked all three pieces at once in the stone wall.  I then stamped the Easter Morning, colored it with Copic markers and then rough cut it, then added some distressing to the edges.  Such a beautiful stamp for a beautiful reminder!

Impression Obsession Spring Hop day 3


Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2018 Spring Release Hop!

Today's card is for that SUPER fast card last minute kinda mailing! :)  
The Whimsy Flowers E15133 was stamped in versamark and clear embossed on background paper.  I then stamped it in IO Hybrid black and just added simple hashes to the flower using my Stampin Up markers.  Some white enamel dots and clear gen pen on the flowers and done!  NO drying time!  YAY!!!

Impression Obsession Spring Hop day 2

I created another card today using a homemade background.  This was in my bin of play papers.  Some powders and sprays were used, I added clear pearl drops at the end of my card making.

Impression Obsession Day 1 of the Spring Hop




Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2018 Spring Release Hop!
We have some beautiful new stamps to share AND Gift Certificates to give away!...

Today I am sharing my card using several of the new sets.  I created my background by stamping the CC in Versamark ink and clear embossing powder heat set it.  I used three of the TH Distress oxide inks and blended them.  I took a paper towel and wiped off any residual ink from the embossing.  These was added to a piece of corrugated paper, then I stamped and hand cut out the images after coloring with Copic markers.  Some copper Pearl pens were used for accents and for the "nails" on the wooden sign.
