Drunken Stampers #116~The Avengers meets C4C

Hello peeps!  I'm popping in with a TWO-fer card today!  I combined challenges from Drunken Stampers~The Avengers and Crazy4Challenges, layers and texture.

Today I am using Your Next Stamp for my image, he's called Super Hero Ethan.  He's a riot!  I started off by stamping him onto Express Blending CS and then again on another piece.  I stamped him a 3rd time onto DP and cut out his cape (including his body).  I colored up his body on the second image and cut it out and paper pieced that on top of the cape.

The challenge for C4C is layers and texture, so I distressed my image flag and matting, then ran the DP under the image through my chevron embossing folder.  it didn't show up all that great, so I took my Memento ink pad and ran it direct to paper over the raised images to bring out the chevrons that kinda mimic the lightening bolt on his belt and the felt zigzag I placed on the card.  The sentiment comes with the set and I stamped it onto the Tags Galore Two die.  Added several pieces of Black jute and popped that up on Dimensionals! :) a few red blings and done! :)
