Well, Good Morning!! It's Day 3 at Marks Finest Papers a Heinrich Company. Today it's all about Nature. Mountain Selections is today's stamp set. I decided to break several rules! OK, I didn't "decide" to as I typically DO break rules while stamping/coloring... ;)
I stamped the largest mountain in the center of my paper. I then masked it and stamped another on the left and right of it. I then created another mask of the larger mountain and using both masks I stamped the big tall mountain in between the left and right large mountains, moving the 2nd mask each time. Now, here is the rule breaking... I colored up the sky using some odd colors and since I wasn't coloring on Express Blending papers they of course wouldn't blend... imagine that... lol... I took my "Blending" pen (I call it an eraser) and gave it a good workout... I rubbed and rubbed and scribbled and scribbled and made tons of circles on my sky trying to get a washed out look. It make it look so soft and fluffy like a sky at dusk... shoot, maybe Northern Lights??? hahahahah
I colored the mountains and water, then took T8 and colored in my little boaters to make silhouettes, the lake bank was stamped 3 times just not inking up the rounded up ends so that it went kinda straight across . White Gel Pen was added for a bit of zing. Now a photo corners were added to the piece and it was mounted onto White CS. Tim Holtz Rock Candy was added to the mountains for a icy pop! Imagining this to be a picture someone took on the side of the road! :)
