Hello my peeps... apparently I took a week off last week. Went to load my card and realised... OOPSIE! NO CARD!!!! ack! SO, I'm ON IT today... last day off and I played the "get ahead" game!;) Barbara is our hostess this month. She is an AVID Gardner and challenged us to created an outdoors/gardening card. Well, I am using a stamp set that shows what ALL gardens have at night... FAIRIES! tee hee... I am actually really good with outside plants and flowers, inside? yea ummm, not so much... SO I saw this stamp set a few weeks back and HAD to have it. Fairies I think are SO cute yet it is almost impossible to find a stamp that doesn't freak me out. I mean WHY would you make a Fairy look evil with those pointy noses and scary eyes? WHY I ASK YOU??? The Crafts Meow knocked it out with this one... it's a silhouette stamp! YAY! Silhouettes are HOT right now and look... no pointy noses or scary eyes! ;) The stamp set is called Butterfly Kisses. I decided to dust off my Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks (lettuce, Stream, Wild Plum, Butterscotch) and a bit of Pearl Mixative and give it a whirl. I also used my new TH Distress Marker in White. do NOT be fooled by this pen, it looks like it isn't covering but it has to DRY... Yep! I'm ok with my dandelion fluff being all white, I just added some glitter pen to it. I used the MFT Dizzy Doily Dienamic and cut part of it off. A TH tag was my base for the image (TH Distress inks: Tumbled Glass, Berries and Seedless Grapes I think...) a piece from a jewelry making card I picked up forever ago and some Websters pages stick pins. A bit of SU Lace and my card is stylishly classical Grunge! Yup, that's my story and I'm stickin to it!
Now, head on over to the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog and get some dirt under your fingernails... or Alcohol ink all over your hands... whichever you choose! ;) DON'T ASK..... tee hee
