Kraftin Kimmie Challenge~Distress It!

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  Yep!  Time to get out your stamps and PLAY.... while you are getting out your FAVORITE stamps grab some distressing tools, distress edge, inks... you know, get grubby!

I created my card this week using You've Got Game, a SWEET boy set from Cheryl Grant!

I distressed the edges of my image panel with just my scissors in a V, darn pig stye of a room can't find my special fancy tool..... then on the cloud panel I crumpled up the paper a couple of times and then used Salty Ocean Distress Ink to high light the crinkles.  Some really old SU buttons and some twine finish this baby off!

Make sure you hit the WAY awesome FRUGAL FRIDAY specials.... there are some REALLY great sets in that baby EVERY Friday!!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek Day 5~Happily Ever After

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to day FIVE of our MAY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! All of our brand new rubber stamp sets will be released TONIGHT! Are you excited?

Wedding season is coming up and today's set is perfect for everyone's stash!! We are SO thrilled to share this sweet set by Cheryl Grant! It is called HAPPILY EVER AFTER!! This adorable set includes THREE main images plus SIX coordinating sentiments!!

I created my card using a center step design but went horizontal with it.  This card showcases ALL of the SUPER SWEET images in the set.  I used some FUN valentines DP, roses, doilies, ribbon and of course Kimmie Sequins.  The image was colored with Copic Markers then fussy cut.

This week our challenge hostess is Becky ! And her challenge is ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week)!! One of the biggest requests Kimmie gets for stamps is sets for guys!! Well, today we are SO thrilled to share this fabulous set of male images by artist Emilie Goulet! This new rubber stamp set is perfect for all the men in your life and will work for Father's Day, birthdays and lots more!!! It is called WILD AND CRAZY GUYS!! This fun set includes THREE main images plus NINE perfectly coordinating sentiments!! I think we....nailed it!

For my card I got a bit adventurous with my coloring!  I saw this "Grill Master" and KNEW I had to give him a smoky face!  LOL  I colored my image with Copics and again used the UBER awesome Sky tutorial from Deborah.  I LOVE me some enamel dots and they remind me of a Weber BBQ all shiny black!!!!  **I chuckle every time I see his face on this card**

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek Day 2~ Sincere Sympathy

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to day TWO of our May Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Have you been enjoying the peeks so far?? We've got more beauties for you today!

Now, no one likes to have to make a sympathy card but as card makers, it something we all must do. And having some beautiful designs in our stash to let people know that we are thinking of them during those difficult times is so important. That's what today's preview is all about. We are so happy to share the newest set of elegant sentiments by artist BECKY PEARCE and it is called SINCERE SYMPATHY!! This set includes EIGHT lovely sentiments and you'll see them all as you hop around the blogs today!

I kept my card very simple and let the GORGEOUS sentiments do all the work!!!!  I found a great DCWV paper stack at JoAnn's on clearance and as my sympathy cards are almost always just black and white I had to grab it!!!!

The sentiment is actually stamped onto the sweet flowered DP.  BAM!  right??!! I added a Doodlebug doily and some rolled country roses and some stamens and called it done!!!  Here's the stamp set so you can see all the beauty it contains.

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek Day 1~Chase Your Dreams

Today the Krafty Girls and guests are thrilled to share with you....CHASE YOUR DREAMS!! It's a gorgeous new set by artist, Annie Rodrigue! I created my card using BOTH of the images and the butterfly.  I just did some masking and then paper pieced 3 butterflies to give them some lift! :)

I paired my card with some FABULOUS .... VALENTINES paper.... never overlook holiday papers!!!  This one has FABBY butterflies on it!!!  A gorgeous rolled rose, some stick pins and my awesome sky that I learned from Krafty Girl Deborah complete the card.

Kraftin Kimmie~Oh Baby!

Hey Krafty Peeps!!!  It's time for another challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie!  This week it's a challenge to make Baby cards!!!  I used the super cute set called Oh Baby! for my card!  I paired it with some DP from Echo Park called Scoot, some Zva bling, Doodlebug bling and some SU! ribbon!  The sentiment is a Becky Pearce sentiment from the set Rain or Shine.
