WOW! Can you believe this is the last week of August? YES! We survived FIVE weeks in August! WOOHOOO!!!!!

Today is a sad day!!! Our hostess Helen is leaving us and this will be her last challenge with the Crazy4Challenges team!!!! BUT... to leave her mark she challenged us with a DOOZIE!!!! lol I am somewhat ok with color challenges and this color group is gorgeous but OH MY! I was stumped for awhile... then I remembered my new set and matching framelits from Stampin Up that I had yet to use.... YAY ME! lol I used Flower Patch.... SO many awesome blooms, stems and sentiments in this set. The fact there are matching dies makes it a gozillion times better!!!!

I created a fun little card for today using some of the extra pieces that come with the Everyday Life pack! This little tourist cracks me up! I grabbed a new stamp from Stampin Up called Snapshot and colored it with my aqua pen and ink in Crushed Curry. Some means of travel to the upper corner and done! Fast, simple and CUTE!!!!

Hey Peeps! It's time again! Time for another challenge over at Crazy4Challenges. This time we are to use a critter on our card, but WAIT.... NO Bears or Bunnies!!!!

Yep, no Bears or Bunnies so I went complete extreme! ;) I used a FLAMINGO for this weeks card. A Flamingo from Reverse Confetti!!!! I gotta tell ya, the dies that match up, yep! Match up to PERFECTION!!!!! SO AWESOME!!!!

I placed my 'mingo in some sparkly sand (a la Lydia).... I used Baked Brown Sugar and rubbing alcohol in my SU Spritzer and made some sand on top of the luscious new-ish Dazzling Diamond 12x12 paper.

EEEEE! Awesome right??? It's like real sand, all shiny and glittery!!!!

Kraftin Kimmie's Guest DT

Hey Peeps! Look at me! I'm coloring a Kraftin Kimmie! LOL

I am SO glad that I have taken the coloring classes from Alyce over at Kit n Clowder. Seriously. I love Kraftin Kimmies but always felt like I was insulting the artists by using them! LOL

Now, don't get me wrong.... I still have some things to learn, like her skirt... WHAT??? lol it is NOT in my class room material at all... so I treated it like curly hair! HA! Take THAT you flowy skirt you!

I am using a retired image from KK called Monique. I decided she was a Broadway star and is just surrounded by famous rays of bling and stars! *snicker*

My DP I used is Doodlebug Graduation Pad. The die is Memory Box. a Double Stampin Up die behind my image and the new stencils from Stampin Up in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry on top!

Well, this card is me throwing my hat into the ring to be a Guest Designer for Kraftin Kimmie! Wish me luck! ;)
