Stamping with a Dream KELLI: December 2013

Oh What a Year!

2013 is coming to an end... Remember... it was Stampin Ganghnam Style for me... what does that mean? It means letting go of the comparing my yet to be named style to others... embracing the fact that my stuff is from MY brains and what I like... it's OK to be different... you don't HAVE to pile on 100 pounds of "stuff" on your cards to, you CAN pile 100 pounds of "stuff" on your cards, sew/don't sew, it doesn't matter... It's all what comes from your heart to create a beautiful card.

This year I have been THRILLED with my cards. I have been on several Design Teams that embraced my style, welcomed my style and ACCEPTED MY STYLE!!!!! It has been an AWESOME YEAR!!!!!

The monthly themes were SO challenging... This was made using those sweet Casual Friday Stamps... I just turned it into a Zombie killing themed card for a challenge we all entered as a group at Smeared and Smudged... LOL they do NOT do flowery... AT! ALL! EVER!!!!!! tee hee

Yup! I'd say 2013 rounded out to be a MOST Excellent year!!! Through this wonderful rubber addiction I have "met" so many WONDERFUL Women AND Men.... it is truly a joy to log on and see what my peeps have been up to!!!! I am blessed!!!!

Oh, and for those that are wondering... **avoidance issues** I am an empty nester now! :( Yep, Dave and I have no kiddos at the house anymore... I just turned 45 and feel like I should be 85! lol

Hambo Hoedown part 2

Hey there Peeps!!!! I'm back with another card for Hambo Stamps HOEDOWN! YAY!!!!

This week I went with my twisted side.... LOL Here is a card I made using Ice Hole. I tell ya Hambo CRACKS me up!!!!

I paired my image with some Carte Bella DP called Winter Fun. I used my Flag banners and added some pearls. A Grounding strip run through the cuttlebug and popped that main panel up! :)

Seriously,.... "From one ice hole to another..." BAHAHAHAHA!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

PLS13 Sketch Challenge

Hey Peeps, knocking out another Christmas card today... thought I'd use the fabulous sketch over at The Paper Loft. Well, if I'm using their sketch... and their papers... why not enter right? LOL Fingers crossed for a winner winner chicken dinner! :)

Here is my card. NO Stamping! WOOT! Just Shades of Gray and Memory Box dies. Added a touch of bling and BAM! Instant Christmas card!!!! :)

OK, just a quick post as I've gotta get some sleeps before shift... back to night shift I go....

RCC88 and The Cats Pajamas: Signed Sealed Delivered

Hello peeps!!!! I'm pulling a 2fer here this week! It's the final challenge of the Ribbon Carousel Challenge blog! :( SAD NEWS!!! BUT.. Corinna is just taking a time out for now and will be back! :)

I am posting my TCP DT Challenge also as it uses a TON of ribbon on it!!! We are to create a gift package for someone!!! Well, I don't have a bag big enough, so like typical KJ giftie giving, NO WRAPPING! ;) I DID make a matching card! This is a bound Art Journal, I just dismantled a sketch paper pad and then used my CINCH machine (dusty thing it is) and created this!

All together now... Awwwwww!!!!! tee hee

TCP Take Off is my image of choice, I think it's quite fitting to use with the sentiment "Always" from Words of Love. I then stamped the DREAM onto banners using my alpha set! Some Cut Ups are here, the Cloud and grass cut ups! I paper pieced my image. chalking is my background. Some SU rose ribbon inked to match my seam binding. that's it! VIOLA! ;) It seriously took me like 3 hours to do this project, for those that know me... that is UNHEARD OF!!!! **gasp**

Guesting with Hambo! Squeee!!!!

Hey Peeps!!! Guess What?? I get to play along with Hambo Stamps today!!! YAY ME!!!! I'm tellin ya, I see cards posted on Facebook of the Hambo Stamps and always get a giggle!!!! The images and sassy sentiments are SO perfect for me!!! I love a lil sass! ;)

HA! I took the horse from the Farm Pack and used him to guide Santa's sleigh! I just colored him up and then drew some "strings" to help him hold his shiny nose on! ;) It's a bling from Kaisercraft. I used the adorable paper from Doodlebug. I added a sweet little twine bow and topped it with a big ole red button. DONE!!!!
