C4C214 Thinking of You

Hey Peeps!  EEEP!  Look who's late for the C4C Challenge... I got caught up in the family over times, but I ran this AM to create a QUICK card... it's one of the reasons I LOVE Stampin' Up!!!!  Everything is matchy matchy and you all KNOW how that makes my heart happy!!!! 

I used the Beautifully Baroque and Yippee Skippee stamp set along with the Vintage Wallpaper EF.  Wisteria Wonder was my color of choice! :)  'cause it's PURPLE!  and a GREAT Purple at that!!!!  WOOOT!!!!!

A bit of Chalk Talk framelits for my sentiment to sit on and then matching ribbon from my stash, yes it DOES match IRL!  Darn lighting today! :(

A Little Z Becky Brown Christmas!!!!

Hello peeps!!!  Just wanting to share with you my Welcome Winter Purse I made!!!!  SUPER Simple to jazz up a purse to fit your need/mood/outfit!!!!!!  Z Becky Brown has TONS of styles of purses and you just create a liner!!!!  I chose the bamboo handled one to look like my snowman arms!!!  tee hee

I used an older SU Set, colored it with Copics.  I then added some snowflakes from Endless Wishes (SU!) which apparently is NOW retired, only available in Digi... :(  A Sweet little blue gingham bow completes the sparkly fun purse!

PS Here is a comparison in size for you to look at in case you are wondering.  This is my Coach purse, it is the "normal" size from Coach.  Not a big purse fan so not sure what this is called!  LOL

Playing with Lil Inkers New Goodies!!!

Hello Peeps!!!!  I got some Happy Mail the other day and couldn't wait to get inky with it!!!!  Lil Inker had a new release and I snagged some goodies up!!!! 

I bought On The Diagonal Die, Joy Word Die, and I already had from last year the Snowflake Dies and Stitched Rectangle Dies!!!   I bought some other goodies and you will see those shortly.... I am STOKED about these new goodies.... Lil Inker was the FIRST company to create a Bow Die and I LOVE it... not to mention the stitching in the dies... it gives it that extra BANG! ;)

Seriously, HOW CUTE is this card..... Simple and SO CUTE!!!!  This is an EASY Mass Produce card!!!  I added some Bling and Twine to my card and the DP is from Authentique!!!  LOVE IT!

C4C213~ Let's Be Thankful

Hey Peeps!!!  It's time for another challenge at Crazy4Challenges!!!!  This week it's about being Thankful! 

I used The Stamps of Life set called Pumpkins2Cut!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!!!  I just took the matching dies with some Farm House Sugar Hill DP and cut them out.  I ran a piece of Vellum through with the Hounds Tooth Embossing folder from SU!  Some bitty brads from Tim Holtz and a bit of crushed silk ribbon that I tore down the edges to rough it up and make it thinner! :)

TCP Tuesday Take 2 or shall we say 3! ;)

Hey TCP'ers!!!!  It's time for me to post my second group of 3 cards....Remember it's the Challenge this month over at The Cats Pajamas to make 1 card then from what's left over make 2 more.... well, it was easier this time around as I made sure to load up my desk with stuff! You know, "just in cases" for the 1st card **wink wink**

SO, I decided to use an UBER easy set to Mass Produce cards with... I mean seriously, do you REALLY make a "special" card for everyone on your list?  I sure don't I have a few that get "made just for you" cards, but not many! SO I used J*lly H*liday from The Cats Pajamas.

I paired it with some Lawn Fawn Sequins and Authentique "Bundle" DP.  Each doodad from the set has some special attention given to it: The snowflake has a heart shaped bling, the candy has a bitty bling in the cente, the holly ornament has crackle glaze on it and the other ornament is paper pieced and has a bit of twine.  Those are easy special touches...

The words on two were stamped one letter at a time to give the set interest... and YEP!  I actually made 4 cards!  tee hee... Double cheater, as that gives me 4 cards to mail now! ;)

C4C212~A SKETCH!!!!

Hey Peeps!!!  It's another Saturday Challenge with Crazy4Challenges.  Lemme tell ya... I did NOT have fun with this weeks challenge...

Oh it wasn't the sketch... it was ME!!!  I decided I was gonna get a 2-fer and play along in yesterdays mixability challenge... lemme just tell ya... My garbage box over floweth.... SO... Skipping THAT idea, here is what I came up with!  I used my (finally ordered) Perfect Blend stamp from Stampin Up!  Some older DP and some Pom Pom trim.  Apparently I was pretty shook up over my failure card and I slopped my coffee on the bottom of the card.... **wink** Actually that is Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from SU also! 

OK Head to the Crazy Place and peep out the sketches for this week!!!

Guest Designing for Marks Finest

Hello!  I'm here today as a Guest Designer for Marks Finest Papers.  It was a year ago that I left MFP as my work life was interfering with my stamp life... funny how it was just last week that I am in exactly the same situation at work, down 3 staff and working 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week.  But I had been asked to come back to MFP and agreed to a Guest Spot, so now that I have the information needed I can play along! :)

TCP Tuesday~What's on Your Desk?

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another challenge at The Cat's Pajamas Rubber Stamps!!!!!  Alma has come up with a DOOZY this month!!!!  Remember the challenge is ALL month for a chance at being the SWANKY STAMPER!!!!!  WOOT!!!  .... OK this month the challenge is to create a card, simple so far right??? .... here's the kicker... Using what's on your desk left over after making that card make TWO MORE!!!!!  YIKES!!!!  I have forced myself to become a put it away after each card is made, yes including paper trimmer.... If I don't I will get back to the whole 2 inches of desk space and WHERE is my __________??????

Let's Put a Frame on It!~ C4C

Hello Peeps!  I'm actually loading this card to my blog EARLY!  WOOT!  lol  Man catching up after moving etc is HARD...

Anje is still out Crazy Hostess and this week we are to put a frame on it.... I chose to use a card I "framed" with chipboard brackets covered in Glass Glitter, I just ran the chipboard through my Xyron to get em sticky...I then sprinkled pink glass glitter from Melissa Francis on them.  The Stamp is called Brackets2Cut from The Stamps of Life.  

The stage for the card is DP from Doodlebug from last year...

Hey Peeps!  Playing a little catch up here and crammed 2 challenges together for this week!  YAY!

Crazy4Challenges, Anja is our Hostess and she came up with a challenge I love, Black and White with a pop of another color...I chose RED!  I decided to use the sketch provided from Kelly, from the Challenge Chicks Challenge... You could always play along with BOTH challenges!!!! ;)
