Oh What a Year!

2013 is coming to an end... Remember... it was Stampin Ganghnam Style for me... what does that mean?  It means letting go of the comparing my yet to be named style to others... embracing the fact that my stuff is from MY brains and what I like... it's OK to be different... you don't HAVE to pile on 100 pounds of "stuff" on your cards to, you CAN pile 100 pounds of "stuff" on your cards, sew/don't sew, it doesn't matter... It's all what comes from your heart to create a beautiful card.

This year I have been THRILLED with my cards.  I have been on several Design Teams that embraced my style, welcomed my style and ACCEPTED MY STYLE!!!!!  It has been an AWESOME YEAR!!!!!

I would like to share a few of the cards from this past year ....

Karen and my peeps from YNS were SO much fun to work with!!!!  She keeps pumping out THE cutest FUNNEST stamps!!!!  LOVE the big eyed silly guys!!!!  lol  Thank you Karen for all you did for me!!!!

Those crazy peeps just keep me happy!!!! What an AWESOME Group of TALENTED Stampers!!!!!

WOW!  When I got the invite to play along with these gals... I was SO EXCITED... not only are they extremely talented but they are HILARIOUS!!!!!  There is always someone poppin off with a funny....

The monthly themes were SO challenging... This was made using those sweet Casual Friday Stamps... I just turned it into a Zombie killing themed card for a challenge we all entered as a group at Smeared and Smudged... LOL  they do NOT do flowery... AT! ALL! EVER!!!!!!  tee hee

I won a Guest Designer gig with The Paper Loft, they sent me THE biggest box of paper... it is VERY good paper!!!!!

I made this for a fun challenge with The Ribbon Carousel.  I used stamps from Sweet n Sassy, designed by Dina Kowel.

Hope You Can Cling To

Oh, and for those that are wondering... **avoidance issues** I am an empty nester now!  :(  Yep, Dave and I have no kiddos at the house anymore... I just turned 45 and feel like I should be 85! lol

Thanks for sticking in here with me so long today and always!!!!

  2. KJ--PPHo you are the most "rounded" stamper I know. That's your "style" you aren't afraid to use dies, stamps, color, sentiments, ribbon, bling or any other embellishment on your cards---and when you do it always "works". You have had a wonderful year, many, many dreams realized. Hat's off to you having the courage to go for it. I appreciate you for your continued encouragement, supply knowledge (you always know where or who to get the neatest stuff), technique knowledge and so much more. You selflessly encourage others to realize their dream. Thank you for being my friend. YOU ROCK!!!

  3. HAHA LIKE A BOSS!! Hilarious and that's how you did this year! :)

I know what you mean about feeling pressure to pile stuff on your cards - I used to feel that too and then I said to heck with it, it's not me and my cards got better too!

You are my hero, and I'm so glad I've gotten to know you better this year. And your nest isn't empty with Mr. Kelli in it. :)

    Loveyameanitbye.

  8. I love them all, and AGREE wholeheartedly that we should craft the way we love and not feel like we have to fit a certain mold. Of course, I'm biased, but particularly fond of your red TCP card there! ;)
